Dr. M. Fahad, BSc, PhD

Dr. Fahad is Technical Design Manager at Rolling Manufacture Company, UK. After his BSc (Engineering), Dr. Fahad worked as a Maintenance Engineering in Oil Company. He received his PhD from the faculty of Engineering at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne-UK. The work involved the investigation of the properties and the mechanical behavior of brittle materials under multiracial states of stress. Dr Fahad worked four years as a Senior Research fellow for the University of Manchester-School of Engineering. He also worked four years as a Research Associate in the University of Durham- Industrial Research Laboratories. The work involved providing solutions to a wide variety of materials problems both in academic/industrial funded projects in support of local manufacturing business.

Dr. Fahad’s expertises are in physical and mechanical properties and stress analysis of metal and composite materials. Dr. Fahad has developed and organized a number of training courses in strength of materials, mechanical testing of materials and static and dynamic behavior of metals.
