Mr. Andrew Botha, BEng. Mech.Eng.

Since graduating in Mechanical Engineering, Andrew has amassed ten years experience as a Plant Engineer focussing mainly in Chemical Plants with a focus on oil, gas and tar type conversion processes. Although his focus has been initially in design, and maintenance on these plants he has been involved in co-ordinating the plant shutdowns on a number of his plants.

He is currently the Area General Manager for a series of Chemical Plants comprising fired heaters, distillation columns and a thermal cracking plant with line responsibility for all maintenance and production. He is an interesting and enthusiastic instructor keen to impart the knowledge he has gained in Boiler Operation, Management, Controls, Maintenance and Shutdown management.
