Dr. Kamel Mellahi

Dr. Mellahi holds a PhD in Management from the University of Nottingham.  Prior to joining Loughborough University Business School in September 2001, he taught and managed in the Middle East (1994-1997), and more recently (1997-2001) worked as a Senior Lecturer in Management at Coventry University where he was the Director of MBA programmes.  Dr. Mellahi teaches on undergraduate, MBA, MSc and post experience programmes.

His work has been published or accepted for publication in a number of international academic journals such as Total Quality Management, British Journal of Management, Management Decision, European Business Review, Journal of Management Development, Journal of Transnational Management Development, International Review of Retail, Customer and Distribution, Middle Eastern Studies and Journal of Vocational Education and Training.  He has presented his work at a number of international conferences in China, North America and Western European countries.

He has written a book in Management with Professor Geoff Wood to be published by Palgrave-Macmillan in 2002.  Dr. Mellahi has delivered a large number of In-house training courses in management to several companies.  He trained managers from Europe, South Africa, Far East and the Middle East.
