Dr. Mohd Fawzi Abu-Sharkh |
Dr. Abu-Sharkh has a B.Sc., M.Sc. & Ph.D. (1969, 1973, and 1977) in Electrical Power Engineering; he is a consultant for several industrial companies in Jordan. He was a Research and development Department Manager in National Electric Power Company. He worked in the development of Jordanian Power System. He carries out studies on the power system analysis, Protection, Operation & high voltage techniques. He takes care of critical problems causes brownouts and blackouts. In addition, he helps other Arab countries in many technical problems.
Dr. Abu-Sharkh contributed to all the studies related to the interconnection of the electrical grids in the Mediterranean.
Dr. Abu-Sharkh is also a Senior Lecturer in Power System Protection, Power System Operation in several Jordanian Universities. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Head of the Technical Committee of National CIGRE in Jordan and he is the author of more than 40 technical papers that were published in international periodicals and conference proceedings.
